After an exciting first day of school, students quickly transitioned into a year filled with learning and Students put a puzzle together at MCMS.exploration.

Students returned to their classrooms eager to read books, ask questions, and complete assignments.

Mason Creek Middle School Media Specialist Jennifer Baker said students all across the county are eager to settle in their classrooms and begin reading and learning.

"The energy and excitement for reading this year is contagious," Baker said. "It fills my heart to see students getting lost in a good book. I can't wait to see all the adventures this school year holds for our readers!"

Superintendent Dr. Trent North agreed, saying, “In our elementary, middle, and high schools, our students are engaged in learning. They are learning with enthusiasm and showing us what they can achieve. I am eager to begin another year of growing greatness within our scholars.”
