Mirror Lake Elementary School's kindergarteners had a special visitor while learning about 
community helpers.
Officer Tiece West, School Resource Officer at MLES, read "Police in Our School" and talked about her role in keeping the school safe.
“The students loved listening to her read, and were super excited to see her police car and hear the siren,” said Media Specialist Kelly Summers. “Her visit helped the students learn more about the important work police officers do and made a positive connection between the students and a trusted community helper."
