Chapel Hill High School senior Addison Minor will take the stage at Atlanta's Fox Theatre this Christmas, performing as a Snow Maiden in the 2025 production of "The Nutcracker."

She will appear Dec. 23 and 24 as part of the fifth anniversary of the belovedAddison Minor poses in her ballerina attire. holiday classic presented by Namari Dance Center.

Minor, a classically trained ballerina, earned the role after auditioning alongside 70 talented dancers from across the region.

Minor said she was excited to earn the role, describing the Snow Maidens as snowflakes brought to life.

"In this winter wonderland show, the snowflakes are personified as maidens—elegant, ethereal and delicate," Minor said. "They show as a dreamlike, magical part of nature, but also a fairytale."

Minor began competing in dance at age 2 and is now a proud member of the Douglasville School of Dance. Her commitment to the art of dance has been matched by her involvement and leadership in other areas. She has also shined as a model for Dillard's Prom Season during her sophomore year.

At Chapel Hill, she is a fourth-year cadet in JROTC and aspires to attend flight school after graduating from CHHS next May.

Beyond JROTC, Minor has served as a majorette, played for the Lady Panthers basketball team and excelled in track and field.
