Arbor Station Elementary students recently celebrated the National Day of Service by spreading kindness throughout a local assisted living facility. Residents of The Harbor welcomed ASES Student Council officers LaNae Ford, president, and Jojo Walker, vice president, who personally delivered hand-made cards as tokens of appreciation. Each card was crafted by the students in the after-school program and included hand-written, heartfelt messages.
Principal Dr. Emily Felton stated, "We are so proud of our students for leading with heart and showing what it means to give back. A huge thank you to our after-school participants and our School Counselor, Chynna Cuellar, for making this day of service a resounding success!”
