Chapel Hill High School's marketing program has received Industry Recertification through the Georgia Department of Education's Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) division, in partnership with the American Marketing Association. This distinction is awarded only to programs that pass a rigorous review by business and industry leaders.
The recertification confirms that the program meets the highest standards for curriculum quality, ensuring students gain skills directly aligned with today's workforce demands.
"Earning Recertification in the Marketing pathway is a testament to the dedication of our students, faculty and industry partners," said Tekmekia Gilchrist, Executive Director of CTAE/6-12 Curriculum. "This recognition affirms that our program continues to meet the highest standards of career and technical education, preparing graduates not just for a job, but for a lasting career in the marketing profession."
Unlike the initial certification, Industry Recertification requires programs to demonstrate continued excellence over time. This commitment makes the designation even more meaningful because it reflects the quality of instruction and student outcomes.
