👐 Happy Occupational Therapy Month! 💙 Every April, we celebrate Occupational Therapy Month to honor the vital profession and the meaningful differences it makes in the lives of our students! School-based occupational therapy practitioners are occupational therapists (OTs) who use meaningful activities (occupations) to help children and youth participate in what they need and/or want to do to promote physical and mental health and well-being. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory components of performance. We love and appreciate our DCSS OTs! #DCSSProud
